County Fairtrade schools network grows

As per the recent County news, the Fairtrade County Group was please to hear that St Johns Catholic Primary School in Trowbridge is the latest school to have received Fairtrade school status, a big congratualtions from all Fairtraders across the County for this feat.

I think it is important as well to congratulate all other schools who have achieved Fairtrade school status. There are essentially 3 main school activity models as set out by the Foundation, follow link:

So congratulations to all the Wiltshire Fairtrade schools and staffing at:

Malmesbury School - FairAchiever

Bridlewood Primary School - FairAchiever [Swindon located school]

Aloeric Primary School - FairActive

Corsham Primary School - FairActive

St. Josephs Catholic Secondary School - FairActive

The Trinity CE Primary Academy - FairActive

St. Patricks Catholic Primary School - FairActive

Sixpenny Handley First School - FairActive

and now joining them

St John Catholic Primary School of Trowbridge - FairActive

It can be seen from these numbers and that there is in excess of 500 schools across Wiltshire that there is a very long way to go. If you are a school thinking of becoming Fairtrade please look at the attached Fairtrade foundation information and if you want support and help please do contact one of the Wiltshire contacts [details on our home page]....
