Fairtrade Fortnight 2015 23Feb-8Mar Main event Market Street 10:00 -13:00 7th March

Palm Oil bubble blowing competition - fun for all the family and many prizes on offer.

Amazing that a year has flown by since planning the 2014 Fairtrade fortnight events.

For the past 3 years the Trowbridge Fairtrade Town Group has through the help of the Co-Operative been able to run a competition for local schools ks1-2. This year with the Fairtrade National Campaign theme:

'Choose Products that change lives'...

the Town Group has decided to run an open 'BUBBLE BLOWING' competition in Market Street outside the Town Hall in the Town Centre.

The competition is based on the many Fairtrade household cleaning products available and though bananas have presented an iconic product in the past, this year we thought it would be good to use more diverse products, in this case Palm Oil.

The group will be inviting people to 'see and feel' Fairtrade cleaning products, then blow their largest bubbles through a straw as possible for prizes and of course publicity for the diverse range of Fairtrade products available.

The stand will also have a range of Fairtrade cleaning products and samples available.
