Fairtrade Speaker, University of Bath, 6pm - 7pm

As part of their extensive Fairtrade Fortnight activities, the University of Bath will be hosting a talk by Philemon Allen - a Fairtrade banana producer from the Caribbean.  Philemon is Chairman of the St Vincent National Fairtrade Organisation and Vice President of the Windward Islands Farmers' Association (WINFA), the regional organisation for National Fairtrade organisations in St Vincent, St Lucia, Dominica and Grenada.

All are welcome to attend.  The talk takes place in Room 6W 1.2 at the University from 6pm - 7pm

If you are unable to attend this event but would like to hear Philemon speak, he will also be at the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, Elm Tree Court, Long Street, Devizes SN10 1NJ on Sunday 6th March.  An optional bring and share lunch is at 1pm and there will be two speakers between 2pm and 4pm - Philemon and then Toby Quantrill, head of Public Policy at the Fairtrade Foundation, who will speak on 'Fairtrade and Climate Change - a Common Cause'.  Booking is essential for this event so contact Sara Cundy on 01380 725670 Ext: 235 or e-mail sarac@wiltshirewildlife.org
